Dancer - Choreographer - Yogi - Model
From the age of 6, Sylvie discovers contemporary dance, then ballet, jazz and latin dances before her interest for dance widens on kinesiology and vinyasa yoga. Trained at the Espace Pléiade school in Vichy, she works with the choreographer Raza Hammadi impregnated the Ballets Jazz Arts repertory. She also experiments improvisation theater and tap dance.
She moves to Paris in 2012 and joins the public higher education institution Pôle Supérieur where she assimilates repertories from Géraldine Amstrong, Matt Mattox, Lester Horton, Martha Graham.. She also continues her contemporary dance training within classes, workshops and master classes in France and abroad (PARTS fondation, Budapest Dance Theater, Gaga dance, Contact improvisation...)
In 2014, she strats an independant professional career collaborating with the Micheletty circus, cabarets and jazz companies as Les Swings, Paris’C’Show, Didier Tafflé, musicals, latin or bollywood dance companies… She integrates Collectif Zone Libre in 2015 as solist and interprets Le secret de la petite chambre and L’Objet du délice. She also works with the company la Compagnie la Girafe Bleue for Anima Végétabilis where she evolves through a vegetal universe mixing dance, plastic arts and live music.
Pluridisciplinary take a central place within her career and she enjoys building an accomplice relationship with music, plastic and numeric arts. She develops a taste for improvisation and choreographic creation with musicians, composers, plasticians et vido makers. She cowrites into multiple projects as the music and dance orchestra Foxies, the show Alien with the drummer Louis Jeffroy, a sound, light, video team, and more recently a performance about the plastic and sound work from Esmeralda Da Costa in her exhibition Altera(c)tions.
Currently in a yoga vinyasa training with Balance Zone, she continues to explore dance and creation in all of its forms. She experiments the question of the link between human and nature, urban and vegetal through two projects : the creation Acimut with the video maker Camille Berthelin and Grandir, with the musician composer Léo Jeannet ad his band Panoramic Project.
